how long can you go to jail if you owe 12,000 dollars in child support?

my parents are in a battle. my mom (woman) of course is trying to get money and thats all shes focusing on. is to put my dad in jail. typical for a woman to do. either way i dont wanna get into details since everyone here will probably be like well he didnt pay that what he gets... thats not the case here. my mom is manipulative and shes a capital B*TCH. so just focus on trying to answer my question as to how long he may get if they send him to jail. thank you
