how long can you go to jail for running from the police?

someone i know got pulled over and then ran on foot from the police. how long can they go to jail for?
 
depends if he had warrants from other cases or something he was doing he shouldnt of and ran

id say if it was something like a misdemenor or something probalby probation community service and house arrest and possibly a fine idk depends

believe u me he would of gotten good sentence for ever it was if he didnt run
