How long can i expect a used kawasaki ninja 250R to last?

I'm about to buy my a used kawasaki ninja 250R as my first motorcycle. It has about 8k miles on it and looks like it has been properly maintained. Considering that I'm a fairly new rider and will make some mistakes here and there, how many miles can I expect this bike to last for assuming that I take care of the required maintenance?
 
Well,.. FD is kinda right and Danny definitely has math and perception problems (a few 100K??); To that end: With 8K miles on it, and if it hasn't been ragged out, you will be able to get all the learning you will need and still pass it on to the next guy to learn on if you don't rag it out & wreck it....
You won't be able to get what you gave for it but if it runs well, doesn't smoke and have alot of scratches/dents, plastic missing, worn out tires you should be able to get around 60-80% of what you paid.
