I bought myself some fishes for my aquarium (6 fishes in a 20l aquarium) and I have an oxygen pump that makes a little too much noise...but it's not the noise I'm worried about. The problem is it makes a water current and I don;t know if the fishes will be able to sleep, so I would like to turn it off for the night, but I am not sure if they will make it to the morning. A little help please:D

Don't worry about the fish, they will not have a problem sleeping. When they are ready to turn in for the night, once the lights are out, they will find a spot in the tank that has little or no current to disturb them. Do not turn off the pump at night, it should run continuously and is built to do just that.

If the noise bothers you, try adjusting the pump. There is typically an adjustment screw on the bottom of the pump. If that fails to quiet the pump, place it on a folded up wash cloth to muffle the vibrations. A last resort is to cut out the bottom of a small cardboard box and place it over the pump.

If you have just purchased the pump, take it back to the store and ask for a quieter pump (or even a weaker pump that doesn't push so much air). They can plug it in for you and listen to it before you take it home. There are many quiet pumps out there, one is called a "Whisper." Tetra also makes a good pump that is not too noisy.
