My husband and I are thinking about getting a 3rd car. We found a 2004 Mitsubishi Galant ES with 86,000 miles for 8 grand in the classifieds sold at a local dealership. The car looks sleek, has leather interior, no body damage...In fact, I really, really like the looks of it. However, neither one of us knows much about cars. Are Mitsubishi cars reliable? How long are they good for, as far as mileage is concerned? I know 86,000 miles is a lot of miles for any car, but some cars are good for longer and some are not. I did some research on the internet and was unable to find anything substantial... He would just be driving the car across town to work and back. So far, almost all of the cars we have found in that price range (under $9,000) have been high in mileage... =( Have you ever owned a Mitsubishi? Personal experiences with this type of car? Are they reliable? Any info would be appreciated! Thanks!
