How long and at what temperature do you bake fish?

Some fish bake for 15 minutes while others can take 30-40.

Tilapia is a fine and tender fish.

Oven at 350, season your fish lightly with S&P, some olive oil and bake for 25-30 minutes.

When done, squeeze some fresh lemon on it and a final drizzle of olive oil.
 
All ovens are different and may not cook food at the same rate as another oven. It takes as long as it takes. There is no magic formula for a certain oven temp given a certain weight of food.

Buy a digital meat thermometer (very inexpensive). Set your oven at 350 F. and check after 12 min.. Fish is done and safe to eat at 145 F.. Any temp higher than this and the fish will be dry.
 
If it's filets, bake at 375 for about 1/2 an hour. That's what I am having tonight too!
