How long after implantation bleeding would you advise to taking a test?

I had what im sure is implantation bleeding 3 days ago that lasted just over 2days and im wondering when i should do a test. I have an irregular cycle so i cant really wait for a missed period as im not sure when it'll be but i know this def wasn't a period.
Any help would be great!!
