I just found out a local doctor does labia revisions. I have wanted one for years but could never find a doctor in my area that performs them. It was determined that while not urgent, it is a medical necessity.
I am on Accutane, have been on a low dose since July 2007. Should finish up in April 2008. It's 40 mg, one a day for 5 days a week. (I essentially have weekenRAB off).
I know you shouldn't have dermabrasion, laser resurfacing, hair removal, etc...while on accutane and for a period of time afterwarRAB.
BUT...would something like that apply to a different body part? I mean, if you needed to have your appendix out, they're going to take it out whether you're on accutane or not!
I do have an appt with the labia doc and the derm in the near future and plan on asking them. But I'm interested in other people's experiences. Thanks.
