How likely is it that at 18 ill get a student visa for university in australia?

I'm planning on moving to Australia pretty soon, to live with family friends until i find my feet and get settled there.
I want to move when im 18 and hopefully go to university there. I was told about a student visa available for there. Does anyone know what it entitles me too and how likely it would be for me to be granted one
