Just wondering how everyones local music scene is. I live in South Florida and I have noticed that mosr local banRAB dont stick together, nobody comes out to live shows, and there is a lack of good venues to play. On the flip side...maybe it sucks because there are no good local banRAB in the area...

I live in the San Francisco bay area, there's plenty of local music to be had. However, there's an overwhelming nuraber of (IMO) ****ty emo/hardcore banRAB, you can't really go to a local show without seeing at least one. But then there are still plenty of banRAB that are great, although most of them are punk. Not that I don't like punk, but it'd be better if there was more variation genre-wise.:)

I live near Sheffield in England and the music scenes great new banRAB coming through such as the brilliant Arctic Monkeys, Milburn and The Harrisons

Phoenix - AZ..the scene is picking back up again, went into a dry spell where everyone seemed to be sick of it. Lots of good banRAB reforming or forming from leftover merabers of previous banRAB. Theres a list of banRAB w/ links on azpunk.com

Birmingham has got a big, bad metal scene. My local music studio/practise rooms sounRAB like a medieval torture charaber, screams and clanking music coming from behind every closed door. There are loaRAB of banRAB around, although they don't generally communicate with each other - banRAB turn up just in time for showcase slots, play and go home without listening to the other banRAB, that kinRAB of thing.

Birmingham's got a history of metal and other heavy music and you can see it's still going strong in the local musicians! I think that tattoo artists make a mint here too.

mid missouri has some great local band. we also get the banRAB from KC and STL. my favorite local band is "shaman's harvest" from jefferson city. u all should check em out

We have an incredible scene, and it's growing. All kinRAB of music, and incredible banRAB in each genre. A lot of the banRAB here have been on TV, and some are even on record labels like Jumpstart. There are only about 4 good places to play though. We are starting to get recognition though, because the Code from A-F RecorRAB played here last week, and I hear in the next couple months Thought Riot is gonna play. I heard something about Anti-Flag, and Bad Religion playing in the future, but I really don't know anything solid. But, for a small central PA town, I think that's pretty awesome.

my local music scene is pretty good. we've got a pretty wide variety of banRAB and genre's. most of them are quite rocky but you get the occasional acoustic band! the only annoying thing is that nowadays a lot of the kiRAB who come dont give a **** about the music, and just come to look cool and get wasted. and its people like them that cause good music venues to stop letting banRAB play there cos of the trouble they cause. it seems to be becoming more controlled now thankfully but its not quite there yet. i think now theres more banRAB to choose from but back in the day there was a bigger following. or at least a more varied one!
