I played a Grand Final today and my god it was a great game. I have been in 4 grand finals now, won 2 but this was the best of the lot. The last time we played this team we drew. So with our hearts firing we came out there and thrashed them and at QT it was 6 goals to 0. But then at 2nd and 3rd quarter we dropped off and there guys just ran through us and at 3 quarter time were leading by 2 goals. We came back that quarter and on a kick on the siren from our team, it was a draw. We had to go into extra time where each half was 5 minutes. On the first half no point was scored, but on the second half they scored a goal and a point they were up with 2 minutes left. But from two 30 second goals we hit the lead. They got the clearance, with less than a minute to go, and they took a mark inside 50 and the siren blew. The guy was right on the boundary, but it skimmed the post as he bananaed it in.
