How is this election not about race when such an overwelming majority of blacks

support Obama? and did so in the Primaries against the centrist Senator Clinton?

Dem vs. Dem Blacks still picked Obama. I find it hard to believe that they were all so well informed and ALL agree with him.
Kinda shows who the racists are
and if you wanna talk character and charity...compassion for your fellow man. I'm black, when I was on the street, not one black person ever helped me, not one. People of every other race, it seemed helped me, even Jewish people (so much for the stereotype), but no blacks.
No honey, BLACK PEOPLE are racist. Plain out. You shouldn't always think someones talking about you when they say racist.
 
Ehhh... I Hate everything about Obama. but i will tell you, Historically, a good majority of blacks always vote Democrat. Its not so much a black thing, im not saying thats not part of it, im just saying thats not the root.

Ironically its the same thing with Jews. They seem to demographically vote democrat also.

someone once said it seems that for some reaosn they sympathize with their opressors...
 
It's not about race as lots of whites support Obama and i'm sure there are lots of blacks that support McCain as well.
 
You must be on the bush administration payroll. Your attempts to deflect us from the coming economic tradgedy to the ageold race issues are apparent.
 
So what? If there had never been a white president before, wouldn't you support him (or her)?

But blacks are traditionally democrats...and for good reason.

And don't blame the racism on them. That is ridiculous. I know a few idiotic people who were "democrats" but will not vote for a "derogatory term I refuse to repeat."

That shows our country has not progressed as much as one would think.

ADDITIONAL STUFF: Also, I would be willing to bet large sums of money that at least 80% of NASCAR fans vote republican. Good to see support from the real smart folk. eh?
 
Obama said he doesn't want his race to be the reason he wins but he has no control of what othesr ultimately do.
Do you know your history? Uhmmm, race has been a major factor in choosing presidents. Why hasn't there ever been a president of color in the past?

Choosing a president because of his race is stupid but let's put things in perspective here....it will not be the first time, nor last, voters choose someone based on race.
