How is the Future looking for GM?

It is in our own best interest that the company thrive being as we are a majority stake holder. I think Ford is the one in a unfair business situation

Yes they will. Once they start producing more cars like the Malibu that get rave reviews and compete head on with the imports, Americans will rally behind them.
I understand the uproar over the money, but just think if GM can come back, what a shot in the arm it will be for the American psyche. Do we really want to lose GM and have that huge failure on our hands - a failure that says Americans can't make decent products and can't even stay in business in their own country?
It's not all about money.

They only filed for chapter 11 so that they could unload Hummer, Saturn, Saab and Pontiac. Once that's done, they're going to come back stronger than ever, that is if they quit taking money from the government.

they should have been wound up 20 years ago,

what will happen is the fed bank will continue to give the government money to keep them running and the usa tax payer will pay the fed bankers interest on the money for the next generations

No.

Who in his right mind will buy a shitty General Motors automobile?

People were not buying GM cars while they were still in business. Now they are bankrupt and just closed your local GM dealership.

LMAO
