How is the election of Barack Obama signifacant to you?

it proves people vote for the wrong reason

now we have a man in office with no experience and going against

a lot of economic experts

time will tell if Barack Obama will be worse then Bush II

I did not vote for Bush either or his DADDY but I did not vote

for Obama as Obama is a greenhorn in the world of politics

time will tell~ I would be pleased if I am wrong~
 
It points out that white superiority is done. It also points out that white majority is over. The problem is that the white right still has no clue what happened and they are still dealing and putting forth their same old ideas. GET OVER IT PREJUDICE A $ $ HOLES, the population of the United States is Different and most of us, ie., the MAJORITY want to work together for a better world.
 
It marks the end of my childrens ability to live in a free and capitalist country.
 
It got the GOP out of the White House!!

And to be very honest, Obama was the first president that I have been excited about seeing in office! I can't wait to see what is going to happen, and how his ideas work.

I am sorry that not everyone likes him. And I also know that some things are not going to work. But at the moment, I see him doing a good job, and listening to those advising him and trying to work with others that may not feel the same way. But there will be those that no matter what he does, they will not like the idea and/or fight him. That is their cross to bear. But I don't really see how the GOP has any hope when people are playing politics rather than actually look at the millions out of jobs and trying to do things to help them out. It isn't the fault of the auto worker that they got laid off; why is it the GOP insists upon making them "pay" for it??
 
The people wanted to turn around the s@%t mess that the previous administration put on us. OK then looks like the people here enjoyed having our past president that F*c@ed up the nation.

The work is "significant", not "signifacant".
 
He is destroying what is left of our economy and is restricting our liberty and self determination at the local level.

Sorry, can't see much positive impact out of this.
 
Maybe we will get to see another presidential assassination in the next 4 years?
