How is the education system compared to Cali?

So, i am moving to Texas, and i want to know how different will the standards and such be like than California? I am in high school , and I take advanced classes...so being challenged is not a problem...I just want to know....?

Anybody live in Texas, go to school there? Or look it up...I can't find it on the internet lol

I don't know much about California schools, but maybe the standardized testing is different. Here in Texas we take the TAKS as a junior (actually you take it as a freshman and sophomore too, but it doesn't count, really).

If you don't pass it, you have about 2 chances while being a senior. And if you don't pass it then, you can't graduate.

Considering you take advanced courses, it won't be a problem :]
 
lol no offense they are so ignorant. they actually think that they won the civil war. but thats ok. and btw it is not as good as cali. you thought there were a lot of beaners in cali. just wait. theres more in texas. no offense to anything
 
texas is probably about three times easier. california schools have such high standards. i'm sure in texas you have to take less classes.
