Well title says all! How is sports apart of culture and what does it mean. I would like it in detail. I couldn't think of anything.

the best definition ive heard is:
"everything that people have, think, and do as members of a society."

basically a sport is something people do in their society, that either brings them together or makes them different from other societies because those soc. do different sports. (just like different foods they eat, music they listen to, clothes they wear, religion they practice, etc)

'apart' meaning separate from? or 'a part' meaning to be a part of? I will assume the latter. Sports can be seen as a pastime or hobby. In a way your pastimes can be seen as being part of you culture, sorry i cant really think of any small details to support my claim but i hope this helps.
