Is it like one big open shower with a bunch of shower heads next to each other with no walls or any kind of covering...cause i seriously wouldn't feel comfortable around a bunch of naked dudes.....not my thing man

Yeah basically what the other guy said. I was in the Navy and same exact thing. Yeah, no normal guy would be comfortable showering naked with 10 other guys but I can bet ALL 10 of the other guys were feeling the exact same way. After all, it's the Military.

- There are two rooms, one to get naked in and leave your towel in and that room is approximately 20'x20'.
- Then there is the shower area which is also aproximately 20' x 20'. the shower heads are on 3 of the four walls, and I think there were four shower heads per wall.
- I have not been in Basic training for over 10 years though, so these are guesses.
- So with that said you do have a bunch of naked guys taking a shower together. To make it even better there is a chance you may even share the same shower head with those naked guys. There are usually about 10 people in the shower at one time.
- Of course you only have between 2-5 minutes to take that shower depending on how bad your MTI is F@#$%^&* with you. So most people are not focused on all the naked people standing around, but trying to get clean as fast as possible.
Here is another fun fact:
Most MTIs make the guys buy the body spray that women wear to keep them smelling fresh and clean. My mom use to call that a french whores bath. (Just a random thought)

You get about 7 seconds to shower. Either get comfortable or don't shower. Your TIs will finally make you shower.
2-5 minutes wow! We has to use shower gel and we had to put it on before we got in. The shower was basicaly to rinse off with. We only got 7-10 second showers.
