How is life as an Army medic in a Hospital?

I haven't even left for BCT yet. What I really want to know is if being a Medic in an Army Hospital is boring. Will I get to see anything other than little scrapes and headaches?

There is a special fast track to the 68w MOS which allows you to go for your PA, that is the best track IMHO.
I know someone who went airborne because he didnt have the stomach for the hospital, you will most likely see a few amputees and some of the hospitals process many retired vets.
I got a chance to go into Portsmouth Naval Hospital, and was very impressed. Its a good job.
