In 2010 I will start my college NROTC scholarship at Southern University. It is a full scholarship and I want to know do officers have fun like the enlisted men and women do. The type of fun like going to parties and just hanging out and stuff. I heard that yoy can get in trouble if your an officer and you are socially active with an enlisted person.
I know the military isn't all about fun and games but it seems very lame if your an officer and you don't have any kind of fun!
Also do the officers have the thing where if your not a certain rank by the end of your 20 years you have to retire like the enlisted. My dad told me that in the Navy if your not e-7 by the end of your 20 years you are forced to retire is this true.
