...from homework.)? I am currently at the end of a biology exam, and I have managed to answer every question but the following: "How is the process [of cytokinesis] and its outcome different for animal and plant cells? Explain your answer to this question in two to four well-written sentences." I have managed to piece together how it is the same -- mainly just by describing it -- but my mind is completely blanking over all relevant web sources explaining how it occurs in animal cells. I mean, read this:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cytokinesis#Animal_cell_cytokinesis
That might as well be in a foreign language. Can someone help elaborate, in simpler English terms, how cytokinesis generally works in animal cells, and how it's different from plant cells? I don't need you to do the homework for me, just throw me a bone here.
