mike - I think there's coming on to strong and then there's coming on to subtle. I'm the kinda girl who likes to show my feelings and if I am feeling a guy I want to let him know. PDA is a good way. You should try it sometime. It's a way to gauge a persons interest in you. I think your idea of first meeting intimacy is very limited. If there's a good connection what is the harm in showing the person? It creates sparks and bonds you and it's more likely you'll see each other again.
