How important is your image ?

Most adults try to put on a facade of prosperity, successful marriage and family in front of other adults.

How important is your image and is it more important than your children ? Would you ever let keeping up with your adult 'image' interfere or interrupt your children's life ?

Ex. Do you think David Lettermen values his 'image' and career over the well being of his family ?

is very important.Say if your a good working clean respectful mother or woman they will see you as a fair woman or mother but if your a lady who wears short skirts curses and doesn't care about life thats someone nobody would respect

no, I think he loves haveing sex with hot women.. just like the millions of other husbands do. Shhes, even Bill Clinton was in on the action.. I can go on and on.. U women will never understand it.. and it's better that way.
 
I believe that image is important in some aspects. Such as, when you meet new people or you introduce you family to business partners or managers. However, i also think that your children's well being is more important than the image of your family that others see. Your children are the ones who matter the most. You want them to grow up and be successful. There is nothing wrong with trying to provide a good image for others, but if there are problems in your marriage or with your children, you should try to resolve those problems rather than pretend nothings wrong for the sake of your image. It could make matters worse.
 
"Image" to me is over rated. i don't have the time to worry about how other people see me. plus it's not my business anyway.
I have other things in my life to worry about that are to me more important then this "Image"

Tho i never cared about image i mean yeah dress your best when doing something that it is needed to be . but daily. what a joke.
i never paid much attention to DL issues. don't really care. sorry
 
My image is important, but its also sincere. I think David Letterman used his power to manipulate, and I don't think too much of him or anyone else who does so.
I would never pretend to be something I am not, but I do my best to be honest to myself and my family. I would also be the first to say that the simple life is much better than one with fame and fortune.
 
image is important if its what you need to make a living out of it.
high profile jobs need good images. unfortunately most people are shallow and base their decisions on image. so yes its important, but if it interrupts my child's life, i doubt id sell my soul.

edit: letterman wasnt married when he was sleeping with those girls. he just looks like a dirty old man sleazy boss. yuck. i never liked him anyway.
