I am a sophomore at a big 12 school majoring in Accounting and Personal Finance. It baffles me when I read the articles about graduate students with loads of debts and no job or there student loans going into default. I just can't see living a life to pay off all this debt when theres cheaper alternatives. So I pose the question, if I stay at my university to get my associates and then go home! Take classes online because I am motivate about school just not the cost of the big universerities. How important is a degree from a univeristy like K-State from Brown Mackie or Kaplan?
