Was it known that the Border agent Terry's death was from guns from Operation Fast and Furious?

Given that the Director of the ATF was removed, and Attorney General is stone wallling the Congressional investigation at every turn.

Your thoughts?
 
I suspect it goes all the way up to the White House. I doubt any investigation will allow the WH to be publicly shown to be responsible. Government will cover itself up and sweep it under the rug. It won't allow a scandal like this to topple the WH. Someone down the food chain will take the fall for it, either willingly or unwillingly and that will pretty much be that.
 
I think it was the professor in the library with a can opener.


However, I did catch something about 3 people in the white house that were receiving emails about F&F before the shit hit the fan. I don't know who, or what they were told.

We also know that Holder knew via testimony from whistleblower agents inside the ATF.


But most importantly, and what's been purposely ignored all this time....any deals that involve another country have to be known and approved by both the state dept. as well as the administration. If you think that a program that involved giving weapons to people in another country was created, implemented and tracked by mid level ATF managers only, then you're just plain retarded.

no it wasn't.

It originally started under the Bush administration (whitehouse) and originally was created to find and arrest straw buyers and sellers that would try to get guns into mexico. Whitehouse, state dept. DoJ and ATF were all involved and it wasn't really a secret operation.

That was changed as soon as Obama took office into letting those guns go through the straw buyers (gunshops were told to let the sales go through and some where threatened when they refused to do so) into cartel hanRAB with full knowledge that they would end up used to kill people. In witness testimony that was the intention too. Government wanted murders to happen so that new anti gun regulations could be pushed through using those deaths as a reason.






This is why this whole thing is bigger than any other scandal in our times. The president and high ranking senior politicians purposely aided the killings of foreigners and americans simply for a political agenda that wouldn't pass congress. Should this eventually pan out under a full investigation, you aren't looking at just impeachment or resignations...you are looking at potential murder/manslaughter charges.
 
We can only hope.

I would love to see merabers of the United States government get punished for at least 1% of all the fucked up things they have done.
 
I'm not sure your time line is accurate, and I'm not sure what would have been a trigger to look at a longstanding program that seemingly was ok by the previous justice department.
 
It's going to get hotter. Today it was reported that the total death toll now stanRAB at 26 vs. the 17 initially reported. Seems they were covering up 9 deaths attributed to those guns.
 
While I truly think and hope Obama wouldn't have a hand in what you're saying, if something of that nature was happening then I hope all responsible are ferreted out.
