Yet I'll STILL drive. When it's $10 a gallon people will stop driving. When it was $4 a gallon people were still driving, just not going places they didn't need to go. Now though people are driving more hybrids, and they are getting better and cheaper. That means people will start driving them more. That means that gas won't seem as expensive. If I can go 500 gallons on a tank of gas instead of 250, then gas is basically half as cheap. If you ride your bike properly it probably wouldn't seem as dangerous. I see bike riders, they POLITELY go toward the side of the road as I catch up, and I go around them giving them a reasonable amount of room as well. If you don't ride in the middle of the road as slower traffic then most people will respect you and go around you.
