I need info on how the cosmology changed.(like how were the beliefs changed)

Renaissance occult philosophers organized, semi-codified and expanded existing occult knowledge, and many of their works form the foundation of modern Western occult practices. Their cosmology was divided into three realms, and it was earth-centric rather than helio-centric (a concept that has been suggested by this time but not widely accepted), with the rest of the universe wrapped around it like layers of an onion.

People no longer believed in a geocentric universe (that the earth was the center of the universe) but that the sun was (heliocentric theory), surrounded by a sphere of fixed stars. Obviously we no longer believe in a sphere of fixed stars, or that our little sun is the center of anything, or in a universe (rather than a multiverse) for that matter.

The world was no longer viewed as flat, but spherical. The sun was in the center of universe, so the perception of the universe was far from correct; still the heliocentric system offered the explanations that were needed to understand various events which were happening at that time. Magellan had sailed around the then flat Earth and this itself required an explanation.
