d-3 players are usually a little smaller are not quiet as fast as d-1 players. Some didn't have the grades to get that full ride to a major school. All in all, some of the best games I've seen are d-3 games. The answer is this. If you are a good football player (undersized or not so fast) you could probably go to a d-3 school and walk on. Mt. Union or UWW probably not.

it depends if ur walking on or not
people think D-III players suck but a lot of teams have some of the best players in the nation
so pretty much as hard as it would be to make a D-II or D-1AA team
