How hard is it to purcase and register a BC motorcycle in Alberta?

I want to purchase a Honda Aspencade from Delta BC and am wondering how hard it will be to register and insure it in Alberta? The salesman said all I have to do is show a bill of sale. (and I was born Yesterday too!) The bike is an 88, and is at a dealership.
