just in case there's anyone who knows something about that deep dark area of game engines - I'm not talking about a run of the mill mod. I mean update an old favorite more than its final official patch. OK software engineering may not be accessible to the average Joe and unofficial patches are rare, but someone might be able to tell us something - maybe even where to start??
