how hard is it really for guys to be deprived sex?

my boyfriend and i have been going out a couple of months and i want to wait a little longer before we have sex, well it's been really hard for him to wait, to the point where he's physically shaking and twitching he wants to so bad. is that normal, and really something that happens or is he egging it on to make me feel bad and give in early?
he's not shaking and twitching all the time, just when we start messing around and i stop him, or even if we're just like cuddling.
also, it's been two months but we've been close friends over a year, he is respecting my decision he's just having a hard time with it personally, physically.
 
Sounds like he's being a little dramatic, LOL! It is different for men, though. There is biological and social pressure for us to have sex regularly. I would say stand your ground. Don't do something you'll regret. At the same time, be careful that you're not teasing him too much. That can make waiting VERY hard to do. Good luck!
