All of the third world country people have a fermented idea of how people in the western world live and see westerners for there wealth as a western person see a third worlder for their poverty . Primarily the human instinct of pride is set inside which means people want to help themselves and don't want charity.
not too hard just depends where. In the state of Gujarat there will be floods of foreigners working and living there in the near future in Ahmedabad. A city called GIFT City is being built there. Alot of Foreigners are also in a city called Bangalore and is known as Little America.
So it depends what state of India your partner is from.
