I'm into just basically dirty punk rock to even metalcore and although a good tone is a good, I'm not looking for the best tone cause when I think of someone looking for a good tone, I don't think rock in mind. I think something with pianos and smooth instruments. so, I need something for rock, not necessarily dirty sounding but if you're into rock and metal you should know what I mean.
will a cheap bass do? what do you think?
also, I have a guitar amp. line 6. can I plug in a bass and it'll work or is it a must to have a bass amp? what if I can get an awesome tone like that? and could it burn out anything? lol.
also, how much is a good enough bass amp for shows? doesn't have to be too big, just big enough that it'll be as loud as it needs to be at full volume even.
It will help if you answer my questions in order or all of them cause some people answer one question or give an opinion and confuse me even more and raise more questions.
