How good is the sony EB series labtop?

I was just going to build my own laptop from dell that would cost around $1,000 but i need a laptop for next semester and ive been looking at the sony labtop because the color selection then i started looking at the spec. and they didnt look to bad does anyone have any reviews about it and how good would it be for college
