Go to a BIG CITY Toyota dealer (avoid smaller towns). For 10,000 you can get an excellent deal on a used Toyota. Get a certified preowned car (which means it's had their 100 point inspection), and has been fixed up and checked out to Toyota's standards for a certified preowned car. I bought one six months ago and it's been a great car. I bought a 2005 Coral SE for only $13,000. I bought an unconditional warranty for $1000 more (good to 100,000 miles). Before that I had a 1996 Tercel (bought in 98) which now has 146,000 miles on it. I have never had a repair on that car yet. Only oil change, tires, brakes, and a mouse ate the wires on my map sensor. Not the cars fault. They are the best cars, since 1994 I have never had a repair on a Toyota. I've had four of them in all. But I have always bought from the dealer. be careful buying from private owners, because someone could have beat up the car, not taken care of it, etc. Even the best car if not properly maintained can give you a problems. Don't waste your money, play it smart and get a good used Toyota!
