How good is a 2.0 megapixel camera on a cellphone?

im getting the samsung rant soon and was
wondering if the photo quality will be good.
i think my very first phone from a couple years
ago had a 2.0mp but idk.i kinda remember it
being pretty decent looking while taken in
good lighting.

btw the video camcorder is only 176x144 resolution.
i know its not good but is it decent to shot about
30secs-2mins video of friends,family,and events?
