How fast will my army waiver take?

I was in the army back in fall of 08 and I had a lot of issues that I could not deal with, not important things, just things that weren't important, and in a haste, I got a General Discharge under Honorable Conditions. Not it is Fall of 09 and I took the 6 month wait + another 8 months to really think about what I wanted to do with my life. I see the major mistake I made and came to terms with a lot of those minor issues.

It is now October and I am getting ready to do my Physical soon to get my waiver stuff ready. I got my Referrals from people that say I can get back in and Written (as requested) The reason(s) why I got discharged. Seeing that it only took a week to get me set up for a Physical How long will it take for me to get my waiver up and going?

I really want to get in, I rushed in the first time without any thought about it (between first talk with recruiter and ship date was roughly 2 1/2 weeks time)

no one is going to have the correct answer for this but its going to take alonggggg time.

just cross your fingers & check to make sure they didnt loose your paperwork.... they have a thing for that.

Your waiver will essentially have to go all the way to the Department of the Army and could take as much as several months. It will also pass through several levels of command and could be disapproved at any level.
I'm not trying to say you have no chance of getting back in, but am warning you that the process is not going to be a quick one.
