How far will a Mazda Protege5 go?

You are taking your chances on any used car!
It could last you for a while costing you little to keep it going, or you could be sinking money in to it non stop!
My 2 cents worth is that you should take any car you are thinking of buying to a mechanic that you trust(or recommended one) to have a look at it. They can give you a professional opinion.
See if the seller has any maintenance records for the car?
If the person who is selling it will not let anyone look at it or keeps saying there is nothing wrong with it, walk away from it!
People will say anything to sell a car!
Take your time in getting a used car, jumping in could cost you large!
