You can tailor your resume to the job that you are looking to get. Just put on things that would show your work experience in that particular job. You can also put on your resume "for further employment history inquire"

...ten years ago? For example, I want to apply for security guard. Currently, I am doing seasonal work as event staff security, but I need something full-time and constant. I've been doing this type of work on and off since 2005. However, I've also done airport security back in 1993-94 and 1995-96. I understand that most hiring managers and recruiters usually ask for at least 5 years and at the most 10 years back. Any assistance would be much appreciated.
