How does Windows Mobile compare to WebOS and Android?

The android market does have more apps and the interface, in my opinion, is easier to use. Windows Mobile settings and apps don't work well for me, but it's a matter of how you use the phone. Web OS is probably on of the easiest interfaces I've ever used, but the lack of an on screen keyboard does bother me since the physical keys are tiny. I recommend getting the HTC Evo.

My wife is pondering a new cellphone through Sprint, and she is looking at the HTC TouchPro 2. I noticed it runs Windows Mobile, as opposed to iPhone, WebOS, or Android. I own a Palm Pre, which has a limited but growing app catalog. I would love to get the HTC EVO when my contract expires, and have heard the Android app catalog is pretty packed (iPhone is not an option for our area).

Is the Windows Mobile apps comparable? I would just imagine anything coming from Microsoft would be expensive.
