ive seen all this stuff about turning your lights off etc helps save power therefore saving the environment etc etc. what im wondering is how. Just because i turn a light off, the power plant doesn't magically know and reduce the amount of coal or wtv its burning to suit, it would say relatively constant for the given time of year, so im wondering if it actually makes a difference or if u have to hav millions of people turn off heaps of lights for the powerplants to take any notice.
