How does TP stack up to OoT?

OoT was the best game I've ever played. I heard a lot of TP is just recycled OoT plot lines, like having to thaw Zora's domain and the forest and water temples have to be beaten again. Is TP worth getting a wii for because I'm not excited about any other titles as of now.
 
all the zelda titles are the same fucking story pretty much. TP is turning out to be better, for me that is. OoT was my second favorite game of all time (after FFVII of course), and im beginning to like TP alot better, the whole motion sensor thing adds a whole new and awesome element to the zelda series. zelda and wii sports definitely makes a wii worth getting, especially at the price of $250, you cant beat that in these days when it comes to gaming. i mean, fuck, a god damn PSP with a game almost amounts to $250.
 
Well, the first 3 dungeons for me were better than OoT's first 3 dungeons. (OoT is my favorite game of all time) However, the fourth dungeon was hugely dissapointing. The main treasure you get there is a joke and the boss had no place in a Zelda game was pretty much retarded. You'll see when you get there.

And the enemies are far too easy, especially those lizard dudes (they don't even put up a fight). in OoT they blocked attacks and dodged around. They don't do shit here. Haven't fought any wolfos yet, hopefully they know how to block. The big spiders/skulltas are the only enemies that pose any challenge so far.
 
Ya I agree with the monsters.

I'm taking my time w/ the game atm. Just about to get to the 3rd dungeon. Water temple.

Game did pick up quite a bit, getting very interesting at the moment.

But back to the monsters....they all are definitely too easy. We need more of those skeleton dudes that block A LOT. Hardest thing to fight so far was probably the big spider or the gorons when they were hostile.
 
I never thought I'd say it, but after playing TP, I will honestly have a hard time going back to OoT. TP basically takes everything good about that game and does it better. definitely worth picking a wii up for.
 
I think it is still synthisized. Gamespot mentioned that they think it should be orchestrated. I love how the Master Sword glows in the sunlight
