I just wrote a poem about my ex boyfriend who I have 2 kids with. During our relationship there was alot of domestic violence. and now that we have been broken up he has visitation of our kids but he only comes to see them when he feels like it. I wrote a poem about him and want to know what everyone thinks. Please be honest. Its a really short poem because I did not want to go into detail......

Love had me blind, but now I see the real you.
Can’t believe I stuck around, for all the S**t you put me thru.
From the twisted mind games to the violence, you put me thru hell
What the F**k did I see in you? You brainwashed me well.
Saturday morning, early rise,
Gotta get the boys ready to go
But you never come, it’s no surprise,
Guess you’ll be the daddy they’ll never know.
And it hurts so bad hearing Marcos “Mama where’s papa at?”
Not knowing if I should tell him “Baby he’s not coming back.”
I just wanted my kids to have what I never had,
I wanted them to know what it’s like to have a dad.
But I ain’t trippin, it’s no sweat
I’m better off alone.
It may be hard, but no regrets
I can do it on my own.
I gotta think about my kids, and for them I stay strong.
Gotta teach em’ the difference between right and wrong.
And I know I can do this, I’m getting stronger each day,
I’ll scream it loud to the world
