How does the possession arrow work in NCAA basketball?

For a jump ball, how is the arrow determined?

it alternates after the following happens:

start of game (opening tip winner/loser)
end of each quarter
jump ball situations

If the jump ball is won by Team A, the possession arrow goes to the opposite team. After that, every jump ball the arrow is swapped. After the half, the arrow is also switched.

at the beginning of the game, whichever team loses the opening tip gets the first possession arrow. after that, it alternates for each held ball situation.
