^ very nicely stated.....but really
8525.......is a "PDA FIRST" phone second......basically a pain if you want to use it as a phone
k790........never had one.....but good camera.............and thats about it
n73.........good phone.......good camera............and you can multi-task like a pda.....without that stupid stylus

];8848314']pocket pc kicks symbians ***...

8525 is so much powerful... but still they-re right when they say n73 camera and phone work better

still i preffer the k790 as a camera than n73

You are nuts. You are one of the chosen few who chose a k790 over a n73 as far as camera quality are concerned.

Now to the OP. If you want an easy OS that is fun to use and easy to learn, the N73 is your phone. Windows Smart phones are incredibly annoying to learn and use.

Obviously, you did post in a s60 forum so there will be a little bias, but I think you are on the right track with any nokia, not just the N73.

If you aren't planning on using any Smartphone features like opening MS Office docs, PDF, use advance calender/planning software, the K790a is a great phone with a powerful camera. I wouldn't want to use a PDA as a phone so it would have to be either the N73 or K790a. Just ask yourself what UI you prefer. Both are excellent phones.

ive had a k800 and im using a n73 right now but i would say that the camera on the k800 is better than the n73 but not by much and i think the n73 is the best 3.2mpx phones imo sure it might not have optical zoom but its quadband and isnt incredibly huge

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (SymbianOS/9.1; U; en-us) AppleWebKit/413 (KHTML, like Gecko) Safari/413 UP.Link/6.3.0.0.0)

Dont forget though, the n73 doesnt have wifi

Great call - as an E62 user, I think the E61i may be the best compromise for an all-in-one device (especially if you're thinking about a QWERTY). I had an 8125 for 9 months but sold it because I received an E62 which has pulled me back into the Nokia ring completely. In fact, my N73 should be arriving any day now....

Welcome to the world that is S60.....if you like the E62, you would really like the E61....but this E61i looks nice, should be better priced than the E90

n73 is good in camera but what is so good about n73 being a phone i think u can you use the n73 and 8525 as a phone the same way and also the stupid stylus u said is actually makes your life easy and make the working on 8525 a pleasure one

i think u never used a ppc phone before that is why u have such rude remarks about something u never used

"Incredibly annoying to learn?"
Man, if that is your stand then even Symbian is too annoying to learn.
You Sir should not be in these forums giving advise.

Coming from someone who has been using both OS and have both phones I can say they are both easy to learn they are just different.

Also you can't compare the computing\connectibity power of the TyTN with the N73 or worse the K790, the idea is just outright silly.

However, if you do not need the processing power and would not want a larger unit then by all means go for the cheaper option. I would.

];8856548']dude if you look at my phones, I CURRENTLY OWN A K800 AND A N73, so i can tell right away, k800 TAKES BETTER PICTURES... im not saying it because i read it or someone told me... just telling my experience

if you havent used a PPC... do it.. cause youre gonna realize that, as a phone, camera and music.. n73 kicks ***, but feels like a toy in terms of usability and software possibilities compared to a tytn or even a TORNADO (SDA)
