...computers on an internal LAN? These computers will never have access to the internet and they'd be uninstalled within 24 hours. Does the licenses prohibit this?
Yes it probably does, as with most/all software the license is valid for only one machine unless it states otherwise. Sometimes you can install a spawn or client version for internal LANs that allows you to play just multiplayer, but I don't know about Civ IV.
