I have dark hair and eyes and a "Middle eastern- look", My family are Italian descendants (6th generation here in US).
I took it upon myself to like all people with no prejudice to appearance a long time ago because I saw so much bigotry in the deep south growing up. If I understand your question, you want to know what rules we have here against discrimination, right?
Look for a copy of the US Constitution, and read the amendments. You will find one that lists the things we can not discriminate against in judging,hiring or housing people who are citizens of this country.
I know we are not allowed to discriminate based on age , race, creed, color or religion, sexual orientation. These laws apply if you are a citizen, if you are here on a visa, or as an illegal alien, you are not covered by our protections under our constitution.
If you are like me, (a US Citizen that just happens to fit our current enemies physical appearance--- Look like an Arab or a "middle-easterner") Our current White house has destroyed our constitution under the guise of "Homeland Security Act" to suspend everyone's constitutional protection against such bigotry and racism,
The past 8 years in USA have caused more damage to our Constitution than at anytime in history. Do you remember when the Soviet Union collapsed? George Bush has brought this country to the brink of collapse and taken away all our civil and financial security.
