like, the scary, thug, unintelligent criminal image that in most cases, are being portrayed by black people.

especially when narrow minded people feel as though every black person is like that. ( Yes I say black, African American seems to be too much of a segregative word. )

it probably makes us feel the same way it makes white people feel who watches 'to catch a predator' and 'law in order' in which whites are portrayed as psychopathic child molester and geeky child porn lovers...

regardless of whatever image the media tries to portray, the sad reality is that very many Black people fully embrace the stereotype as something to be proud off. This is more of a cultural crisis than one of external perception.

Who needs sigs and alchohol when you have good natural weed?

My White Castle weed is the bomb. That is what every one is saying.

I can send you a sample if you like.

They are only basing the image on what they see in reality. Just look at the crime stats. "Narrow minded people" don't need to see things in the media to get that image, all they have to do is go out in public and look around.

well these days, ive seen them put blacks in high spots sucha as doctor, lawyer, and so forth and sometimes they will make them have the high positions over a white person just so that whole negative perception of blacks will change a bit.
ex in fairly oddparents, the black kid is the genius, and the white friend lives in a trailor

in the nanny, fran thinks she is part black, finds the black family she thinks she belongs to, and finds they are very rich and very well educated and good looking, while she is just a nanny.

It doesn't bother me because I know that's not how all black people are... and for the people that rely on the media for images of a certain race they are f-ing idiots :)

It annoys me. BET is the worst. They barely have any positive black shows. Just loud, ignorant, violent, slutty and unintelligent junk.

Lol the way films are at the moment, you'll find black people portrayed as wise, kindly folks who will do anything to help the leading (white) character in distress. This is even better if it's a fat guy, or an old guy.

I think Morgan Freemen and Samuel L. Jackson have this fabulous but unoriginal role down to a T.
