how does the electricity work with camping?

do we need to take our own extension cable (assuming its the same sort of block as provided for caravans?)
No silly answers please
the campsite does provide electricity.

who needs electricity when you have fire? enjoying the great outdoors is about living with mother nature and taking advantage of the things that she has provided for you

Theres usually a heavy duty hook up point at each pitch with industrial type socket connectors (blue). If you havnt got a cable of your own you will be able to hire one for a small charge (pardon the pun)

You didn't say if you were going to a developed campground or an undeveloped campground.
If developed campground yes take your extension chord (the campground does not provide them for your use).
If undeveloped then no because there will not be any electricity.
