I love writing music, and am going to be studying composition in college. I've always wanted to be able to write scores. You know that butterfly feeling you get when you hear music that works so well with a movie. Well I want to take it to the next level and write scores that make your eyes water (you know, like how to train your dragon's score; that better win the Oscar, lol). It's my dream to create something that can emotionally affect people in those ways. I just need to know how to get started.
How does somebody get into the business of writing music for movies?
