A: Language: Jazz, Hip-Hop, I'm hep, Homie, awreet, word, viper, dis, reefer, blunt, moldy fig, sucker m.c.
A: Fashion: angled baseball cap, low slung baggy pants, sneakers, arms akimbo, hands up and down to the lyrics (rap), scowl, raucous laughter

i dont think music can affect a culture... music comes from a culture.
but anyway... rap just attracts the unmusical inclined... whereas hiphop is where its all at... jazz beats, soul, funk, instrumentals... etc etc
with regard to language.... everyone speaks in different dialects anyway... and that forms our own language we speak... we all have a style of speaking for certain situations... just as in poetry and all other songs have their own modes... well i find it interesting to listen to how other people speak anyhow.
and if you listen to french rap for example but dont speak a word of french... how is that going to affect your mother tongue?

I think it depresses me and makes me angry every time it comes on the radio. I also think the music videos are awful.
And it all sounds the same; all of the lyrics are about the same thing. I don't want to hear a million songs about slapping women or doing drugs. It's just not a positive message.
